we have just bought a 2bed apartment in the holiday fort golf club so we will be looking for furniture to get put in later on in the year does anyone know any company they could recommend.One we have heard of is www.bulgarianfurnishing.com,has anybody had any dealings with them,and is it better to buy the linen and kitchen utensils seperate from the packages. My apartment has just been finished by Design House "Ritoni"- k.k. Sunny Beach (Tel/Fax: +359 554 22104), I found them when i was out last september. They are located about 200m down the main road when you get off the bus for sunny beach. They were ALOT cheaper than the package companies i had quotes from and the quality is very good. I got the main furniture (kitchen, bed, sofa ect) from them and the accessories from `Furniture shop Varna`. You can just type in unclebulgaria.com in your search engine and when the website comes up look to the top left which has the option for english version,

as for quality, the package we are currently getting installed is a better package from the off the shelf i.e. Sofa bed is not the normal slatted type which gives you back ache, we are having a leather sofa bed (double).

the kitchen is slightly better and they do install. We are also having a washing machine installed. Don't forget the sun beds, you may not be able to use the ones around the pool without charge!

Yet to find out how good the quality is first hand but I do know somebody (close friend) that lives in sunny beach that recommended them.

Thanks again Nikki i,ll give it a try ,Is it Fort Noks that is renting out the sunbeds I think it is a bit off a liberty for them to hire the sunbeds out though, as we have just spent thousands on buying one of there apartments.

I'm not certain they are renting out sunbeds, however when my family and I stopped at Sunny Fort last year their were only a small number of sunbeds that were available FOC, due to the apartments being privately owned the complex was empty and their were sufficient bed for everyone around the pool (max 10 people throughout the holiday). We did select some beds one particular day that we were told we had to pay for, we just borrowed sombody else's

Prior to using ''somebody else's'' sunbeds at Sunny Fort, did you ask the owners permission to, in your words, '' borrow them'' each sunbed and parasol in Sunny Fort is identified with the relevant apartment number, don't you think it would have been good manners to ask the particular owner if you and your family could have the temporary use of their property, and if they were not avalable to answer your question then their property should have not been used.
If any of the sunbeds had been damaged whilst your family and yourself were ''borrowing them''what would you have done???.
For your information many of we apartment owners in Sunny Fort have over the past 4 years had our sunbeds and parasols damaged by individules using them without receving our permition.
By the way sunbeds and parasols can be purchased at very reasonable prises in Sunny Beach and Burgas and FN hire them out on each of their
developments, of course you were made aware of that by FN last year at Sunny Fort when they told you, you would have to pay for the first ones you were using.

Have a thought for other peoples property someday it could be yours,

Without sounding aggressive, Nobody mentioned this fact and nody pointed it out until halfway through the holiday when we used the beds beside the ones we had been using all along. As for markings on the sunbeds we used, well worn and unreadable. Simply to say we were their to enjoy our holiday and the beds were available around the pool.

The owners were not their so could not ask, I would have thought that you would return them to your apartment if you were not their (Simple thought, but clever).

I apologies if I have upset you, but without hunting around the pool everyday for our specific beds when their were approximately 50 to go at (all empty) + As already pointed out, we did not know the 'Rules of Sunbeds' we simply picked a nice location and enjoyed the holiday.

As you say, some were damaged hence the comment 'return them to your apartment on departure'.

Just to confirm, we did not damage any and had a lovely holiday all the same thanks.

Everybody else around the pool was of the same 'holiday spirit' and did not want to go chasing specific beds.

Again, apologies if this sounds aggressive but just was their to enjoy a holiday which we did.

Sincerely we did not know that you all had your own sunbeds, we just used the ones that were out, I own you a beer or 10 when we're next in town.

Not very nice to tell people off. I thought this was a friendly forum. You have not even met the people you are having a go at. Is it a well known fact that Fortnoks charge for sunbeds in all their Complexes? I would think not. What happens to all the guests that owners send to their apartments. Educate people, not put them off!!

I am very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay in Sunny Fort last year, you were lucky to be there on a quieter time, we have stayed there for the summer for the past 4 years and the arguments and fights that go on all summer (all over sunbeds) you would not believe, often, office staff are called in to sort it out, we are amused at the lengths people will go to to save 4Lv, I know this can add up over a period of 2 weeks, but there should be no need to pay anything, all apartments have there own beds
Last year we had friends renting in Sunny Fort, every morning someone was on their beds, it was very embarrasing for them to ask people to move, so they simply paid Fortnoks to rent other beds until the Bulgarian owner arrived, she kicked off and moved the people, to their embarrassment. Apparantly renting agencies insist that each apartment has 2 beds for guests before they take on rental arrangement, in the interest of harmony the letting agent should post the rules of individual complexes inside the rental apartments.
We have had 2 chairs "borrowed" from our balcony, staff found them a week later, no harm done you might say, but in the meantime I had to buy another 2 chairs.
Sorry if I sounded aggressive in my reply to you but I have always paid my way in this life and I hoped everyone did the same...

We have actually purchased 4 sunbeds in our furniture package so this should be ok for my family of 4.

We did meet a lovely family from Liverpool who have 2 apartments on Sunny fort, they stacked there beds and used a bicycle lock every night, even when they left to go home they didn't move there beds, just placed them to one side and chained them up.

It was a lovely holiday and the complex was very nice, a bit silly though when you can by beer cheaper in the supermarket which is opposite the bar, equal distance from where we were sunning it up.
