Hi All,
Does anybody know the nearest A&E hospital or equivalent that is situated near St Vlas? Will the hospital have any English speaking doctors etc? Our daughter is non verbal, has cerebral palsy and severe epilepsy and at times we need to be able to access emergency treatment and if any body can help with regards to the address of any local hospitals which have English speaking doctors or nurses this information would be priceless!! Any hospital contact telephone numbers would also be gratefullly accepted. Hopefully we will never need to use a hospital but you never know. Such information would also be useful for people to put in their information packs if they intend to rent out their apartments.
Lets hope this season is a great one for all concerned!!
Cheers.

Hi Panorama, have just e-mailed friends of ours who live in the Sunny Beach area who say that most of the big hotels/complex's have medical facilities on site but the hospital in Sunny Beach is brilliant and is open 24/7,most of the staff also speak English very well, just pop in, explain and they'll give you a card etc. Unfortunately they hav'nt the tele numbers at hand. Hope this is of help. Will PM you later (if it works!)

If all else fails the Doctor at the Riu Helena Park is fantastic and speaks very good English. I unfortunately witnessed a german guest have
a very bad turn there last year and the Dr. was very professional.
Hope you have a great holiday :D

Most of the hotels have doctors on site, also the polyclinic in Sunny Beach is good although this cannot cater for serious things you will be transfered from there to either Pomorie Hospital or Burgas if you have private insurance which you should have they will transfer you to the Life Hospital in Burgas or St Sofia. But I hope you never have to use these facilities.

Hi To All,
Thank you all so much for your replies. This information is so helpful and reassuring to us. Lets hope this coming season is going to be great for all of us. I am retiring at the end of next year 2009 and we are planning on spending as much time as possible in our apts each year after that. I know it may sound sad but I'm already counting the days down to our new and exciting life ahead.
Kind Regards. :D
