We're due to travel over 10July08 for a month. Can anyone recommend where to exchange money at a favourable rate?

Crown exchange are quite good you just need to shop around and look at he bank rates on the day, dont use any other change booths except Crown.

when we have been out to our apartment we have always [six times] found that the money exchange/phone booths in st vlas square very good with there exchange rates when we were there in june there rate was 2.40 when in banks and other booths the rate was only 2.32 hope this helps and hope you have a great holiday

Crown booths are the most secure exchange booths, but for best possible rates...Nationwide Debit card, completely free, no charges

Last month while out there crown booths were offering 2.42/2.43, I used my Nationwide Debit card for a week and I got rates of 2.47/2.48, the lowest
rate I got during that the week was 2.45
