I'm going over to BG tonight for a few days and was looking to buy a dvd player for the apartment. Would our DVD/CD's work in their players?

I believe our dvd players will work in their tv's but the case is pretty full now so would be easier if i just bought over there if possible.

Hi Adam, we took a DVD player over last year. Just a cheapie from Asdas for £10 and works fine. :D

If you are buying one from Bulgaria, avoid the local brands NEO and Elite. They are cheap but don't last very long....

Hi :D

Just got back from Sunny Beach and whilst there I purchased a Toshiba DVD player for 79.00bgn from a place called Techno-Maket in the Royal Beach Hotel shopping complex down in the centre of sunny beach it plays DVD/CD/VCD very good value and compact we took our own DVDs CDs over and they work fine

You will need a 21 pin scart lead as well if you have scart in your TV, my advice is to take one across from UK as quite expensive in Bulgaria

Hope that helps
