Legal Advice needed - Can Anyone Help?

Postby TFIDave » Sun Nov 23, 2008 6:06 pm

I am about to organise the final installment to FN on behalf of my apartments and will be organising a trip over to Sunny Beach to sign Deeds in May next year, however, while purchasing the apartments both preliminary contracts are in my name although I would very much like my daughter to sign the Deeds when the time comes, is this possible? Would I have to change the preliminary contracts or can she sign for both at the Notary regardless?

Quick reply needed, any ideas Admin?

Hello, TFIDave!

The procedure of changing/adding names in the preliminary contract is simple and short. You just need to contact the person in charge of your complex. Her name is Aglaia Ivanova - aglaia@fortnoks.org. You will have to sign an annex to the preliminary contract to include the new buyer.

TFIDave,

If your daughter is going to be on the title deeds then Fortnoks can arrange the prelim. contract to be amended. Both of you still have to sign for the title deeds. However, if she is only signing on your behalf then get a POA done here so that she may sign on your behalf. There are 3 documents for this and they have to be in Bulgarian. Then take to the Bulgarian Embassy in London to get their stamp.

Hope that helps.

The P.C. are in both my husband's name and mine,i am going over in May to sign the deeds, my question is,can i just sign or do we both have to sign as it doesn't suit my husband to go then but we'd like to get it sorted as soon as possible, anyone know what the procedure is,it would be very much appreciated Lyn
