2009 Facilities

I sold property in Spain for 5 years. If you think Fort Noks are bad you should try buying in Spain. I think that some people have lost sight of the fact that we are purchasing a property in a country that is yet to be developed to its full potential, which some ,including myself would say is part of its charm.
I for one am happy with my purchase [HFGC] and look forward to enjoying all the facilities once they are up and running.
They say you get what you pay for in this life and when I think how much ive paid for my studio I think I'm gettting good value for money. You cant buy a caravan in the UK for the price of a Fort Noks studio.

Hi All,
WELL DONE JULES d7 (mishca 05).......I could,nt agree with you more. Everything you said is 100%...Well thats how I saw it the 3 times I visited last year. Yes there are issues but as was said Its a whole new set up and there are bound to be bits 'n' pieces that need to be sorted. I absoutely love our apt, again considering that we had no prior knowledge of Bulgaria let alone buying abroad....AND MORE TO THE POINT ONLINE !!! ( I shiver whenI think of it ) but you know what had we been there it would'nt have worked out as well. Especially after a programme on t.v. last night about how some people have lost their life savings thinking they had properties and have nothing........So I and my family say WELL DONE FORTNOKS.....for everything, for the constant updated e-mails on how the project was taking shape and for the acknowledgement every time money was sent over. Its all of these things make you realise what a good company we were dealing with. I am going over 4 times this year and I cannot wait. My Sisters are going with their young familys and in the times that we are living in today (economic downturn) Its a really nice feeling to have something to look forward to and even more to be able to give your family a chance of a holiday that this year they definately would not have had. They all booked their flights in January and for one of my sisters this ment a family of 4 would have a 2week holiday in AUGUST for €628.00......Now that does take beating, and it lifts your heart to see them so looking forward to' Bully ' ( the smaller ones cant say Bulgaria) So heres to a great summer 09 and I look forward to many many more. :D :D
All the best

I would also like to support and thank Fort Noks for all their good work. I have read these forums for the past 2 years and can not believe the amount of moaning that takes place. The group that operates on eyeonworlwidewide.com simply love to complain. Over the years I have given my family a running commantery on 'What they have to complain about today'. I dont think they even take into considertaion the negative impact all their comments has on the rest of the owners.

I visited the complex twice last year at it was very good and look forward to more facilities being operated in the future. So many people have lost their savings buying from dodgy builders in Bulgaria and I am glad that because I bought with Fort Noks I am not one of them !!!

I have not posted on here for a while because I was getting fed up of all the negative comments, I also feel that Fort Noks and there employees have done a very good job and I have no regrets what so ever about purchasing my apartment. I think on a whole most people are happy from what I have seen when I am there and there is a minority of people set out to just winge for the sake of it. With regards to the road issues you should have known that would be an issue before you purchased and even if an over pass is built you will still have to walk along the road. To put things into perspective you cant have everything for the money you have paid, if everything was perfect you would have been paying an awful lot more. Thanks

....very pleased with Apartment too. Nicely built and all the snags have been rectified quickly. It doesn't hurt to highlight issues as they arise although I agree if people haven't been out there and only see negatives on this forum it doesn't really help us.

I agree, but if you do have any issues you should take them up with fortnoks....not post them on a forum for the whole world to see.

Thanks everyone for the comments - it is really heartening to see so many good comments - I am now looking forward to going rather than dreading it!

thanks for the comment on the deeds - I had not realised there was a 10 day delay - but thats OK we can get them posted on.

Admin - do you know when the shuttle bus service will commence from NFC? We will be there 23-27 May and it would be great if it was running by then!

Anyone else around May 23-27?

Thanks !!

Wendy :)

Having lived in Bulgaria now for over 12 years and also running a property management company and airport transfers, I have seen more change in Sunny Beach than would seem possible. We manage a number of apartments from Ravda to St Vlas, and there are good complex's and there are bad ones, In my opinion some of the best runs complex's are Fort Noks, you will have to go a long way to find complex's that are kept to the high standard of theres. Yes I appreciate that owners have issues one being the road, but I do feel that Fort Noks have made quite clear that this is the municipals hold up, Also people who have bought in Nessebar Fort and Holiday Fort are now on the opposite side of the road to Sunny Beach and this area has only just started to be developed, I can remember when Sunny Fort in Sunny Beach was just sitting there all on its own surrounded by rubble etc, I think that people have to remember is that things in Bulgaria take time to get right, and please before everyone starts shouting yes but it should have been done etc, with all the will in the world it just does not happen fast in Bulgaria. As the area that NF and HF are in start to develop more you will start to see the benefits. One thing that I have to say and at the moment have not seen a lot of improvement with is rubbish and dumping of rubble, but this is now being addressed by the government and lets hope in the future that this will improve.

I visited Nessebar Fort Club yesterday and thought the complex was really taking shape for the season, gardens looking lovely, lots of nice benches along the paths, pools emptied and cleaned and lots of workmen on site. The snack bar looked ready to open (not sure if it has already) with what looked like new parasols outside. The complex is progressing much faster than a lot of other places in Sunny Beach.

I hold my hands up to say I have winged about no road crossing, & am not too thrilled that having to pay to use a sunbed

I am however pleased with my purchase & like June says, the complex is presently on the perimiter of Sunny Beach, but given time this will change, giving the complex a more central feel

As previously mentioned you would only get a caravan in the UK for what we have paid for a nice 1 Bed Apartment in the Sun

Unfortunately I do feel that my whining about no road crossing will be vindicated when we have our 1st fatalities

As for it not helping people sell apartments, now is not the time to sell, I am still buying houses in the UK, it's a buyers market, buy low sell high, with a pinch of "He Who Dares"

I know the world economy is difficult to predict, but If you have to sell now, sadly you got it wrong.

Looking forward to some long hot summers

Gary
