notary papers

Hi, we have been told that we have until December to sign the notary papers, what will happen if we don't?

I don't know the answer to the question but I believe you can pay a solicitor to sign on your behalf if you do not wish to attend.

As far as we know, the difference will be that you will have to pay more council tax, as the property will still be in the name of FN, rather than a private individual. Once you have signed and get your bullstat card, your next due council tax will be less. also, FN will charge you more to have the papers drawn up again.

It is true that you can arrange for a Solr to sign for you with Power of Atorney, fee approx 300euros plus. also., FN can do the same for you, similar costs. FN will advise you more accurately than we can! We weighed up all the pros and cons and decided that the cost of the air fares to sign in person before the end of this year was better for us. Obviously we dont want to lead you astray but this is what we believe to be true so safer to check it out for yourselves.
