You can also pay it upstairs at the
Post Office in St Vlas to save you going to Nessebar :)

I've just queried the municipal increase from 51Euro last year to 96Euro this year and the it was promptly removed from the invoice. Not really what I wanted, just wanted to know why the large increase. Does anyone know why the big jump? Is this an added cost by Fortnoks or just local council putting up their prices? Thanks Gary

No it's not to late to pay at Nessebar or St'Vlas

There is a small discount if you pay early April ish, I think it's 5%

If you like paying more for the same bill, pay it to Fort Noks :D

I think the ammount you pay is down to how many rooms you have and the square metres, and I believe as long as you pay by the 1st of June you are covered for the Fort Nox guarantee of repairs. One year Fort nox wanted 65.53 Euros for council tax we went to the office in nessebar and paid our own which was 85.14 levas quite a bit cheaper. This year Fort Nox want 140 Euros ---someone queried it and it was adjusted to last years price. I think I am right in also saying if just 1 person is on the deeds then only 1 gets charged council tax but if 2 are on they both have to pay. When we bought our apartment we had thought about having the children added to the deeds but that put us off. If any one knows any different let me know? Can you pay at the post office in Sunny Beach?

HI GINGER,

REGARDING YOUR QUERY IN RELATION TO THE AMOUNT OF COUNCIL TAX PAYABLE,IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MANY NAMES ARE ON THE ACTUAL DEEDS,THE TOTAL FEE PAYABLE REMAINS THE SAME,ITS JUST DIVIDED EQUALLY IN THE NESSEBAR OFFICE,BY THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE,WE HAVE OUR CHILDREN'S NAMES ON THE DEEDS,HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL. :) :)

Thanks Linda,
This was helpful, but if it was not council tax it may have been something else we were told about having the children added, memory is not what it used to be.
