Hello,

Apologies for this post taking so long,it's been a very busy time for me over the past few weeks and i've only been able to find the time to do this now.
Some (or maybe most) of this information you might already know, but i'm sure some of you will find this post to be a treasure trove.
Continuing on from my previous post (Snowy Nessebar Fort Club) there shall be pictures where ever possible.
Some websites that i'll be giving to you can be translated in the browser "google chrome".
Or you can use this website http://www.bing.com/translator

So i'll begin with our closest supermarket the MM market
Image
This supermarket is behind the Aqua Nevis Hotel.
While it is convenient i really only use it to buy fruit juice, coca cola, and sometimes morning bread rolls,i don't have a car so buying heavy items like 2 liter drinks, this supermarket is a must. They also have a selection of fresh meat, dairy products, cleaning products, sweets, beverages and vegetables.

While facing this supermarket,if you turn right and walk to the bottom of the street you will see 2 vegetable stores, one on your left and one straight ahead. The one straight ahead has really fresh carrots, sorry i dont have a picture.

While you're on that street if you walk towards the resort, just before Djannys restaurant there is a crossroads turn right and about 100 meters on your left you'll find this pharmacy
Image
I have only great things to say about this pharmacy, even though i have only bought a few items. The people who work at this pharmacy are extremely friendly and helpful. For example i wanted some tea tree oil and purified water <(more about this later) well they didn't have it at the time and ordered it for me,the very next day both items were there waiting for me,i've also got some painkillers here which were priced no more than a big pharmacy in Burgas.

Walking further on down this street on your right hand side just before the crossroads you'll find this second hand clothes shop
Image
I've bought a pair of jeans from here for 13lvs which is very good value, they have a good selection of clothes for both male and females.

Continuing on past the second hand clothes shop you'll see this road
Image
If you walk past the Boomerang hotel until you come to the bottom of the street you'll come to the Mladost supermarket
Image
Mladost supermarket is great,it's cheaper than MM market and also you have alot more choice,it has everything you'll need for a weekly shop.
Upstairs in Mladost there is a wide selection of household goods, cleaning products, and a small selection of appliances.

Further away from home but not that far if you catch the No.1 bus from the main street in sunny beach towards Nessebar you'll find Penny Market.
Image
If you get off the bus at the stop just before the roundabout going towards nessebar it's only a 2 minute walk, the bus back to sunny beach is just opposite the stop where you got off.Penny Market is really cheap, they have special offers every week.
Their website is http://penny.bg/ if you click on the top link on the left hand side you can see the offers for the week ahead.
Another supermarket which is fairly close by bus is Lidl.To get to Lidl you need to catch the No.10 bus from the bus station in sunny beach and get off on the next stop after Ravda, the bus stops right outside Lidl and across the road the bus-stop is how you can return.
Here is their website http://www.lidl.bg

Burgas now....You can catch the bus to Burgas from the bus station in sunny beach for 6lvs each way.
If you get off the bus upon reaching the first bus-stop in Burgas, which is just past the first roundabout and walk back towards the roundabout and turn left, about 2-300 meters on your right you'll come across this shopping centre
Image
Carrefour supermarket is huge, everything you could need is there, here is their website http://www.carrefour.bg/
This shopping center has a wide selection of shops you can find more information here http://www.burgasplaza.com/

Walking past this shopping center you'll come to another roundabout, keep to your right and turn right and you'll find Metro cash and carry
Image
Metro, before you go make sure you bring your passport or a credit card or they won't let you in.Metro has the biggest wine selection i've ever seen in this area, they also have a huge selection of products including real English cheese, which i crave from time to time, also their butchers are good here.Other products here are household items, frozen goods, dairy products. Here is their website http://www.metro.bg

Speaking of cheese how about some cream crackers? This shop is in Varna but they deliver either by courier or the post office. I've received several packages within a few days from making my order.Minimum order is 50lvs and an order of 100lvs will cost you only 3lvs to be delivered to the post office in sunny beach.I love currys and cream crackers so that's what i order mostly from them also they are great when it comes to Sarsons vinegar,on chips Yum Yum!!!
Here is their website http://www.sokoni.eu/

Another on-line shop that i haven't used yet is http://britishfoodsbg.com/

And another one i haven't used is http://britishlionfoodstore.com/index.php

So moving on from all the shopping here are some ways you can save money in your holiday home.
I have 4 spot lights in my living area they are 50 watts each, that's 200 watts an hour,so i went out and bought an energy saving light bulb which uses 19 watts per hour and it lights up my whole living area,so instead of using 4 spot lights for 5 hours which will use up 1 kilowatt my energy saving light bulb uses up 1 kilowatt of power in 50 hours.
Another way to save money on electricity is to turn on the immersion at night for an hour, you'll have plenty of hot water in the morning for a shower or washing dishes.

Internet
This will save you alot of money while you're here,i bought the 12 months prepaid plan for 16MB internet you can use it in many places in Bulgaria including all of Sunny Beach, you can also buy 8MB prepaid, each prepaid plan comes in 6 or 12 months. If you have a residents card you can buy their contract products, otherwise you can buy their prepaid products.Prices start at 149 levs for 6 months 8MB broadband going up to 249 lvs for 12 months 16Mb broadband.
All packages are for no downloading limits which i think is very good value, here is the website http://www.maxtelecom.bg/bg/services.html
Also if purchase this http://www.maxtelecom.bg/bg/devices/wimax-wifi-3.html you can set up your own wifi hotspot which you can setup for 10 other users,so it's possible to save even more money by sharing the costs with your neighbours.

To get the most out of your broadband use this
http://www.instructables.com/id/usb-wifi-antenna/

TV
So now that you'll be sitting down having installed your internet and just after eating your curry and having cream crackers and cheese for desert with your glass of wine, you'd like to watch some tv right? :D
Here are some links to watch BBC's,ITV's,Kids tv,ect, ect.
I'll let you figure out how to use them, since you'll have plenty of time to do that before you get here.
http://www.filmon.com
http://www.shadownet.ro/channels.php

Healthcare
I was talking about purified water earlier on,the reason i use this,is because i make colloidal silver with it.
Colloidal silver is the best thing that has happened to my health, since i've started using it 7 years ago,i've never had one flu or cold.
There is some negative things said on the internet about this but i'm sure it is people working for big pharmaceutical companies, but take it from me it is safe.
I've never had to go to a doctor in the past 7 years and i can walk into a room full of people that have the flu or a cold, without catching anything.
Colloidal silver kills over 650 pathogens and was used widely before big pharmaceutical companies came along. It is also very cheap to make.
Here are 2 e-books about Colloidal Silver
http://www.nikitanaturals.com/files/All%20you%20need%20to%20know%20about%20Colloidal%20Silver.pdf

So if you'd like to ask me anything or add anything more please feel free to do so.
Kindest Regards
Tinku :D

Great information, glad to see somebody putting useful posts on rather than just talking about the weather and muddy roads as they do on other blogs.

Hi Sean

I have not got a problem with that, it was Paul and Sue from SP Properties LTD ( bestbulgaria4sale.com ) a registered company with BULSTAT number102911558

I attended the Notary and also met with the buyer of my apartment at the end of last year, I have another apartment going through at the moment and I will also be attending the Notary.

HI PHILL200,

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOUR COMMENT REGARDING "USEFUL POSTS",TINKU'S POST IS CERTAINLY A BREATH OF FRESH AIR,THANKS TINKU FOR PROVIDING VERY INFORMATIVE INFORMATION, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE NEW TO THE LOCATION AND INDEED FOR ALL OWNERS,AS THEY SAY THERES POWER IN KNOWLEDGE!!!

I THINK IF YOU DID INCUR SUCH A LOSS PHILL,ITS MOST UNFORTUNATE TO SAY THE LEAST AND I'M SURE YOU COULD WELL DO WITHOUT DEVIOUS, INSENSITIVE AND IGNORANT COMMENTS FROM THE "MAYOR"!!

THERES A NAME FOR SUCH PEOPLE,WHO AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY TAKE PLEASURE FROM OTHER PEOPLE'S MISFORTUNE,BUT THEN WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT. :) :)

Hi Phill.

Like Linda I cannot see how anyone can take any pleasure in the knowledge that you lost so much money on your investment,
maybe if one day if they come across a similar situation they will then know how it feels. When I decided to sell a property of mine
I contacted three agents in total to discuss this, two got back to me and the one that didn't even have the common courtesy to
reply to me was the one that acted for you at such a loss, Paul of S&P Properties. In the light of your experience I am so glad now that he didn't
especially as I went on to accomplish a sale at a price I was happy with from one of the other agents. The moral here is to select
your sales agent with care as Sean quite rightly states.

best regards Whiterose

Hi Tinku

I think the subject matter here has somewhat deviated from your original topic so I just want to say how
great it is to have someone like yourself who is taking so much time and trouble to give information and
advice which I feel sure will save people both time and money so please carry on with your good work which
is greatly appreciated.

Best wishes
Whiterose

What does "who will all loose money" actually mean?

If some purchases a property, then decides to sell in a buyers market, at less than they purchased it for, then yes they will be seen to loose money, but they won't "all lose money" unless they decide to.
