I bought a furniture package off the developer, it was around €9,000 for a 2 bed apt. I haven't been there yet to see it and I am wondering what else will I need to buy to make it liveable, ie bed linen, crockery, cooking utensils, etc. Maybe its all included, maybe someone here has got similar and they might let me know.
Thanks, Fin.

Hi Fin, we paid 6,000 euro for a complete package for 1 bed. This provided us with everything we needed. There was kitchen units including fridge all crockery, cutlery, glasses, toaster, kettle, openers, knives, oven and hob, stainless steel saucepans. Lounge furniture (bed settees) coffee table, 21" tv, DVD player and unit to house them, rug, curtains and dining table and chairs.Double bed and mattress, bedside cabinets and lamps, 3 door wardrobe and chest of drawers. Hallway storage.Bathroom accessories, clothes airer. Bath towels, hand towels. 2 lots of bedding, 4 summer quilts, 8 pillows, hairdryer and coat hangers. All curtains and ceiling light fittings. Table and 4 chairs for balcony.
I wanted the furnishings tobe a better quality than the basic buy to let furnishings as we are not renting out other than to family and friends and that is exactly what we got.
Hope this is a useful guide to what other packages provide for the money. It may be useful to ask the company you used to send you a list of everything they have installed in your appt, you can also use this list as an inventory if you rent out your appt.

Hi
Check your package inventory, the Fn packages we have seen for a 2bed have only enough equipment for 4 persons not 6.
Good luck.

Thanks lads, the package inventory has gone missing, so I was just trying to find out without having to contact the company that installed the furniture. Having paid so much I hope to not have to buy too much more when I get out there.
The problem with the furniture list was that my pc wouldnt display it after I received it so I went to an internet office and got it printed, then deleted it by mistake. I bought the package anyway and I cant find the list now.

Paid £5,000 to Uncle Bulgaria Furnishings, who fitted the kitchen, and enough equipment for 6 persons, (see “photos from end of May” post)
