I was there in the first week of October 3 years ago and got sunburnt anyway. It was only a weekend break though.
This shows the average for Varna.

Hi,
We were there last September at the end of the Month for a week, the weather was still hot,but cooler on a evening.
The second week in October the Sunny Beach resort closes down, Hotels, and the shops we were told. Also Bourgas Airport
Shuts down as well.
We are over for the first two weeks in October to stay in our apt, lets hope the weather is still fine.
Hilary
