Sunny Beach is pretty empty and not a lot to do over the holiday period

I suppose it all depends on what you are looking for in a winter holiday.
It will certainly be quite on your complex but the weather has been so far very good for this time of year. Last year at this time there was snow on the ground, today in the sunshine it was 17 degrees but there is no guarantee on what the weather will be like tomorrow. There are still several local restaurants open and Bourgas is very lively if you want to come and shop for the bargains. After work, we here in Elenite (the other side of Sunny Beach) are all enjoying the good weather and social life we have created and would recommend a holiday over the winter period to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday I feel there is a big market for winter holidays being missed by the business owners and tour operators but feel confident that this will change in the future.
Anyone for Bulgaria?
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Tom
