Hi we have just returned from a very quiet and peaceful NFC had a lovely relaxing time there, all the pools were frozen over it was lovely. We flew in to Sofia and travelled down by coach there is some lovely scenery on the way especially with al the mountains and fields covered in snow. We will defintely go over again at this time of year as there were restaurants such as Djannys and Faros open. Cant wait for May now to go back again.

Coach trip takes about 6 hours. There a lot of companies so you dont have to wait to long in Sofia for a bus, some go right into Sunny Beach and others only go as far as Burgas. price is about 34lv per person one way.

Wheres your sense of adventure Pip honestly it was ok pleny of room and very comfortable so much so that we are doing it again in May and hen again in Sept, we would have flown but they only leave at daft oclock in the morning and its not easy getting everything to line up perfectly so you would have to stay overnight in Sofia by which time you can be in Sunny Beach. You could always get the sleeper train from Sofia to Burgas
