GENERAL

Hi.....I bought a property at The Marina view complex and am just interested in general on peoples thoughts and opinions about the complex i.e Rental, staff on site, quality of appt's etc. I went out twice this year (July and Sept) and have many pictures but I'm not sure how to post them on the site so any advice would be appreciated.

Hi

We are just next door on Panorama and have visited twice this year.

On the whole we love the complex and are happy with the apartment furnishing etc.

We bought the furniture from Fort Noks it isnt the best but we found it a lot easier to let them do it.Last year when we furnished it there wasn't many other companies offering this service.

We would like a few more facilites like another bar/restaurant and also the Irish bar we were promised.

We love the location and are very pleased with our apartment. and hope to spend many more holidays there.

Plenty of contacts and info at this link regarding furniture from last year's experiences - http://sterry.me.uk/pfb/forum/viewtopic ... =furniture

It is very convenient to get Fort Noks to do it, but if you are feeling adventurous, there is a big supermarket out in Bourgas that sells everything under the sun at cheap prices. Just find a friendly taxi driver who is willing to do it at a reasonable price.

Richard, Hi

I have bought in Marina View with my brother a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment in block B1. However we have not yet made it over there since the complex was completed. Hoping to get over there next year, our last visit was in March 2005. I guess the area has changed quite a bit since then.

From what I hear from fellow owners they all seem pretty much happy with the standard of the Fort Noks complex/apartments.

With regard to your photographs, I would suggest that you 'host' your photo's on one of the many free sites available and then post a link to them on here if you want others to see them.

I use http://www.esnips.com to host mine.

Regards

Mark

Cheers

Not used it much this year and it's gone into 'winter' hibernation now :( Brought it new as a box of parts in 1987 and then built it up over a few years.

Seem to have spent a lot of my time this last 18 months messing on the computer sorting out Bulgaria.

My brother and I have brought 3 apartments (our pension plan hopefully), one in Marina, one in sunny beach and the other in Bansko.

Haven't seen any of them yet complete though.

No haven't used them....any reason not to? or any suggestions.

Our apartment in Sunny beach was furnished and managed by the developer, so nothing to do there.

We are looking at Black Sea Interiors for our apartment furniture in Marina and as yet not chosen a management company for it yet.

Bansko is still under construction so nothing doing there yet.

Hi Westy,
Thanks for the links I've just put a few photos on the esnips site as a quick test http://www.esnips.com/web/MARINAVIEW I have a lot more pictures including sunny beach etc. I bought my app't thro an agent in the UK Knight International http://www.bulgaria-property.com/index.cntns and they are advertising it for rental 2007. they also use wizz air to advertise http://www.wizzair.com/travel_services/apartment/. The pictures I've posted were taken in July of this year just after the app'ts opened for public use. I've only bought the one appt up to now as I want to see what the next few years brings.......I had a good look around the area whilst I was out there and travelled around a bit and also went back in September so any info I can share and everyone elses also is greatly appreciated.

Richard

Tried looking at the photographs, but I think you need to alter the settings to make them viewable.

There should be two settings when you select your folder 1. Share with a group (photo's you just want to share with your friends) or 2. Share with the world (anyone can see these).

I think you are wise to be cautious. We only had the intention of originally buying two (one on the coast and one in Bansko for the sking) but somehow ended up with 3  hence the first apartment we brought in Sunny Beach is on the market now. Not an ideal situation but needs must.

I don't think we will see a true picture of what is going to happen out there for a few years yet. Once they have been in the EU for 2/3 years and a lot of the construction works in the immediate area have finished and maybe in time a resale market will establish itself.

I don't know about most people but it has been quite a journey over the last 18 months.....hopefully its time now to be able to relax a bit more and just go with the flow :)
