title deeds

we granted power of attorney for signing of the title deeds.now we have been told we have to visit bulgaria to sign. anyone else had this experience?

Not personally but people we met when we bought were under the same impression that they could let the solictors deal with it. They had to take a last minute flight which did not go down well at work.

Yes the same thing happend to me and i have to go out the 1st week in Sept to sign, , having said that i did intend to visit at some point to check out the finish of the furniture package.

Its to do with the price stated on the title deeds. Solicitors will not sign......

Hi All we went out to sign,Fortnoks said that we could sign and pick up the deed about 10 days later ,after signing they told us it would be 20days as the notary was busy.So that meant another trip to pick up the deeds .
