Hi all just to say we went over to pay the bills end of May for a week. Very good weather but the area is quiet very few people around at night. Paco Bar was not busy but food very good as always. Zornitza Hotel is very good all new furniture in outside areas. Vlas is not busy either but most places open. DJanny Restaurant in Sunny Beach has been refurbished and is very good recommend a visit or two as food and drinks are excellent. Sunny Beach was not as busy as this time last year but it is looking better they have cleaned the place up. There is a lot of new permanent shops in Elenite under the part built apartments as well as big bouncy Lions etc for the kids at night time only. The beach has been cleaned and looking good. Bus fare has gone up by a leva but all running on time. Most food and drink prices have gone up again not by much still very good prices.

We go over twice a year and noticed mini bus went up last year. Cant remember if bus fare went up last year too.

We came back on Monday, our place is in Vlas. We go into Vlas each night but didn't go to Sunny beach this time. We found the good places to eat were really busy in Vlas Saturday and Sunday as early as 7pm. I don't know if you are aware that Russian school holidays are June, July and August, hence it not getting busy until June. Bulgarian kids have the same holidays but don't go back until mid September.

We found food prices had crept up a bit. We have been going over twice a year since 2006 and have been keeping note of prices and changes. Ive made a project life scrap book photo album of the changes.
