hi all
my family and i are going out to marina view on the 13th july for 2 wks.
we have got the apartment through friends of ours, and we're booking the flights with XL.COM.
we've never booked our holiday this way,you know we just book the package that suits us and off we go, so we're a bit apprenhensive that we get every right(we have 3 kids).

what i want to know is how to get from the airport to the resort,we land at 23.30 so will there be taxi's there or do you have to book one and any idea of cost??

any other info about the place would be grateful like, how much are taxi rides into sunny beach,is it worth going into sunny beach and whats on the resort to entertain my kids??????

thanks in advance for any one who replies back.....

hi casper
not sure which airport you land but if you have rented your apartment off friends ask if they can contact fort noks and fort noks will arrage a pick up from the airport [ not sure on cost though]
i have a apartment on panorama next door to marina, i went out last august and i found taxis available on site, there is a bus stop outside the main gates which will take you into sunny beach for about 1 lev [40p] approx 15 mins journey this runs up until about 10.30 pm, i found sunny beach very nice but a bit to hustle and bustle in the evening. on site there are between panorama and marina about 5 pools including a wave pool, a jacussi pool, a internet cafe, a gym, two places to eat and the beach is only a five minute stroll away. we are all hopeing this year to see a bit more activity on the complexes as they were only completed last year. i belive this year you will be able to use the facilitys of five complexes. [there is a water park in nessaebar] if you take the bus to st vlas, [2 mins journey ] the transport is then free to the water park, i hope you have a great time and if you have any other questions this site is the best place to ask because i belive you get a honest answer here.
cheers

Taxi to Marina Fort View from Bourgas

Postby Bri » Sun Jan 14, 2007 6:50 pm

You should pay 60 levs from the airport. Always confirm the price before getting in the taxi.

You may pay 80 levs if the transfer is in the small hours of the morning.

Marina View's nearest airport is Bourgas, which is approx 30mins away.

On the fort noks owners site there is a contacts section with details of companies who offer transfers and in the forums there are recommendations from other owners.
The website is www,fn-owners.co.uk

I would be very careful who you use to pick you up from the Airport or drop you off .When we were there lots of people offered to do Airport collections Market days Nights out ,Police station to register etc
Are these people insured to carry paying passangers, what would happen in case of an accident.Would the holiday insurance pay?

The travel insurances do NOT cover riscs and accidents happening with a vehicle doing illegally transportation (non licensed travel or transportation company).

On the Fortnoks board on the complex, there is a list off all taxi drivers numbers, so that you may contact them to arrange a transfer.
We was dropped off by one of the taxi drivers, back at the airport, and he gave us his card, to contact when we return, we just give him our flight details and he will be there to pick us up!
He is one of the taxi drivers that sits at the top of the complexes at MVFB.
