Good morning all from a little cloudy Elenite,
A very cloudy, windy and chilly weekend had here in Elenite. Rough sea, all the waves crashing up against the wall of Messambria, had trouble getting to Robinzon's as the waves were crashing on to the beach. More sand was put at Robo's to secure it. Much more calmer this morning, no damage done. So a quiet weekend had here, a few beers at Robo's, we managed to jump the waves, adds more fun. A cosy night in Saturday and Sunday, lots of home cooking on the go, and Roast Beef and Yorkshire puds yesterday. Hope you all had a good weekend, have a great day.

Good morning all from a cloudy Elenite,
A little sunshine yesterday, but bitterly cold with the wind. Late afternoon became really wintery, windy, cloudy and cold. Big dark clouds, looked stormy but came to nothing. Today looking much the same. The big oak on Messambria nearly bare. All pools were getting drained at Nfc, preparing for the winter. Work continues all around here, more trucks and concrete at the Sea eye. They have started digging and measuring up at the front of Messambria, by the road side so will keep you updated on this one. Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a little cloudy Elenite,
Looks like we could have some sunshine today, blue bits in the sky, a break in the clouds. Sunshine forecast for the rest of the week, fingers crossed. It got bitter cold again yesterday evening, heating had to go on. So another cosy night snuggled up keeping warm, with plenty of the old merlot on the go. Winter does have its bonus, the merlot is out to keep you warm. Strange as it might seem, we are having a Bulgarian night at Robinzon's at the weekend ! See how much we have all learnt about Bulgaria, with a Bulgarian quiz. Lovely Bulgarian food, and of course some Bulgarian music and danceing.
Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a cloudy Elenite,
Looks like rain, and we were promised sunshine :( Had a little sun yesterday, but again very cold early evening. Building work continues at Taliana, they have started digging up the road for some reason, not sure why yet, but in doing so we have been left without water since yesterday lunch time, a sign of things to come over the winter. We were in St Vlas getting some shopping and the power went off, continued to shop in the dark. All part of the fun. But a good excuse to get down to Robinzon's, have a beer and watch the world go by. Have a good day all.

Good morning all from a fresh Elenite,
A little cloud, but really does look like we will get some sunshine today. Went to Bourgas yesterday and the sun was shining, temperatures were at 16 degrees, on returning back to Elenite, a little rain and temperature was 6 degrees. Bourgas was really busy, Christmas decorations up, Christmas songs playing. I was looking at some decorations, 6 lev for a piece of tinsel ! On walking round the shops and stalls, we came across an out door ice skating rink, we did not give it a go this time, but for sure next time I will have a go. Have a great weekend all.

Good morning all from a bright, sunny Elenite,
A lovely weekend had here, weather was not so good Saturday, but yesterday was glorious sunshine and very warm. Our Bulgarian night at Robo's was good fun, plenty to eat and drink. Yesterday was a great day, we all met on the pier, all the lads were fishing while the ladies, sat and watched with a couple of cold beers. Lots of locals out fishing, giving a few tips and quite a lot of fish caught. Found another watering hole at the side of the Sea eye, so stopped for a drink before returning home to a Sunday roast. The sun is out this morning, looks set for a nice day, just a little sea mist at the moment. Hope you all had a good weekend, have a great day.

Good morning all from a little cloudy Elenite,
Not much sunshine yesterday, got really cold late afternoon and a little rain. I did not venture out at all, stayed home kept warm and cosy. Most locals that we speak to, are saying we should be having snow soon, but looking at the weather, we have big sun again by the weekend with temperatures at 17 degrees.
Work continues on Taliana, still lots to do if they want it completed by December. They have started doing the garden area around the complex. Had a look at the pictures for the Sea eye, looks a very nice complex, quite big but not due for completion until 2011. Have a good day all.

Good morning all from a little cloudy Elenite,
Clear sky coming over, so will get some sunshine today. Very windy and cold yesterday, a little sunshine. Had a brisk walk on the beach, the wind was bitter, so hurried along to get warm at Robinzon's. Low and behold, they were installing the wood burner. 20 minutes later and it was roaring heat, lovely and warm. A life saver for the cold wintery evenings. We are investing in a dart board, so we can start dart nights at Robo's. Our party theme this weekend is going to be a Mr & Mrs competition  So god help hubby if he gets the wrong answers !! Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a fresh but sunny Elenite,
Rather chilly here this morning, lovely blue sky and the sun is shining. Sea a little choppy. Temperatures are at 13 degrees, heavy snow forecast for Sunday. So stocking up on a few essentials just incase we get snowed in. Some ski resorts are already covered in snow. Work continues all around, they are doing more work on the roof top at Taliana, yesterday welding all day. Just had news, friends coming out in Feb, it is great that people are venturing out in the winter months, there are tourist on Pfb at the moment too, they are joining in our fun at Robo's and having a great time. Have a good day all.

Good morning all from a little cloudy Elenite,
Had plenty of sunshine yesterday, but a cold wind. No wind today and possible sunshine to follow. No snow as yet. Well the dart night at Robinzon's was a great success. Over 20 people turned out, plenty to drink and a game of killer played by everyone. A long game that took us into the early hours, but so much fun, laugh's and banter knocking around. The Bulgarians joined in and had a great time too. So tonight, we are all going to snuggle down at Robo's and have a game of name that tune. I know you all might think we are mad, but we are all having so much fun in being so. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Mike and I would like to say a massive "thank-you" to Di & Sean of Sawone Services for all their hard work, their dedication and commitment in keeping Robinzons bar open during this winter period. Thanks to their help the bar is now fully glazed and has a huge log burner so lovely and cosy, we are also able to use the kitchen facilities for our party nights and the owner and staff are just brilliant. Di & Sean have organised several social events that have been such a great success and we take our hat off to them..well done and thank-you to the both of you!!

Best wishes

Good morning all from a crisp and sunny Elenite,
Plenty of sunshine in store for today. Another sunny day yesterday, but Saturday was a very windy and wet. It poured down. Had a great evening Friday with the name that tune, never laughed so much. The teams were men against the women. The women stole the show and beat the boys. Would like to thank Steve, Sue, Debs and Steve for the fun night they organised in the name that tune. Hope they had a safe journey home, and look forward to seeing them soon. Saturday, another great night with the Mr & Mrs quiz. Sunday a nice relaxing day. So a great weekend had. Hope you all had a good weekend. Have a great day.

Good morning all from a sunny Elenite,
Lots of sunshine yesterday, really warm if out of the wind. Got really cold late afternoon. Looks set for sunshine again today. Have not seen any snow as yet, but there is snow on the mountains and also reports there was some snow in Sunny Beach. So we popped up to Robinzon's early tea time, only to find Aly & Mick had organised a bingo night. It went down really well, prizes of 3 lev for a line and 5 lev for a full house. The funny thing was, I have never seen us behave so well, and how quiet we all were for a change. Thanks Aly & Mick for the bingo night. Another great night had. Have a good day all.

Hi, Di and Sean,
Do you know if the riding stables are still based at Elenite? When we were there in Sept. they were still building in that area and it was not easy to access. If your not sure where it is, it's on the road to 'Elenite Village' on the left before the cement works.

It was only in 2007 that they built new stables so were hoping they are still there. We have clients that are interested in riding.

You seem to be keeping yourselves active, keep up the good work and keep the photos flowing.

Cheers, Geoff and Carol
