Good morning all from a sunny Elenite,
Sunny again today, snow not melting but managed to get out yesterday. Went to St Vlas, did a little shopping and stopped for a bite to eat. Some main roads are clear enough to get out, small roads you would not chance it. Snow fall in Vlas was just as bad as Elenite, some cars still buried in the snow. Paths are all iced up and very slippy to walk on. Pools all over are now iced up. Lets hope today's sun does a little thawing.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all from a dry Elenite,
No more snow as yet, lovely and sunny yesterday that managed to thaw a little snow. Today dry but freezing temperature's, very cold and due to get colder. Goritzsa village had nearly 2 metres of snow, so they are well snowed in. Things in Elenite getting back to normal and the car back on the road. Worker's are slowly returning back to work in the Royal park area. More snow forecast for the weekend and minus 19 for Sunday. :( Have a great weekend all.

Good morning all from a sunny Elenite,
Lovely blue sky this morning, not a cloud in sight but my word it's freezing. No more snow over the weekend, plenty of sunshine but the freezing temperature is making it very hard to get out and about. Saturday we all managed to get one car out, an adventure ! to say the least, we had to push the car nearly to St Vlas where the roads were a little better. Just like an ice skating rink from Elenite to Vlas. Electric on and off all weekend too, but managed to get a gas bottle so we can at least keep warm if the electric goes again. The gang have ventured out again this morning, how far they get I will let you know in the morning. I have decided to stay home and keep warm. I will just worry until they return and have the hot toddies waiting. Hope you all had a good weekend. Have a great day.

Good morning all from a cold and cloudy Elenite,
Still very cold, but temperature on the up, only minus 10 today. Lots of sunshine yesterday but did not melt any snow. Sunshine early this morning but now the clouds have turned up, should be sunbathing weather by the weekend, so they say. Lots of wood on the beach to burn so hope to be back to normal soon. Did not get very far yesterday due to bad roads, hope to get a bit further today. Mean while, with power cuts and frozen water we are still here to tell the story and enjoying our adventure. New arrivals on Hfc, so it's great to see some people venture out this time of year. Have a great day all.

Temperatures fell to minus 28,2 degrees celsius early on Tuesday morning in the Northern Bulgarian town of Sevlievo as Bulgaria saw record temperature lows for a second day running.

The East and North of the country were worst affected with -25oC being seen in the Black Sea town of Dobrich at 05:00 Tuesday morning.

-22oC in Elhovo, -20oC in Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo and Vidin as well as -14,4oC in Varna were all temperature records for the respective regions.

Some roads and Airports across the country were reported to be clear despite the icy conditions and recent snowfall.

The lowest temperature ever measured in Bulgaria was recorded in 1947 in Trun –38,3 oC.
Reports from Novinite news.

Good morning all from a chilly Elenite,
Still cold, plenty of snow all around, really cold temperature's. Power on and off again yesterday, internet on and off. What a carry on. Warm temperatures for the end of the week. Managed to get the car out yesterday, roads are really icey, slippin all over but at least we got to the shop. Staying home today to keep warm and dry and cook. Roll on the good weather so we can get on the beach and burn some wood. Have a good day all.

Good morning all from a sunny Elenite,
Clear blue sky and sunshine today, very cold but getting warmer. Just as things were thawing, another snow fall last night. Only for an hour but enough to cover all over again. At least we can get out now, the road is a bit better. Hope today's sunshine does a little more thawing. Sea lovely and calm today, the beach has plenty of snow still, cannot see the wood to burn at the moment, so need a good thaw so we can get out and have a bonfire. Have a great day all.

Good morning all from more snow fall in Elenite,
Well we were getting there, a nice thawing, FN workers had cleared all the path ways and we have woken up to more snow over night. Snowing now a little as I type. We will have to venture out today, supplies getting low so must stock up. Swans are in the bay, a calm sea this morning. Looks like there is plenty of snow to come today, getting thicker by the minute. Must go and get out before it's too late. Have a great weekend all.

Good morning all from a sunny Elenite,
Plenty of thawing going on, lots of rain, temperature on the up. Snow plough and grit finally turned up in Elenite so much easier now to get out and about. Wonderful sunshine today, clear blue sky, calm sea and lots of swans. A great weekend had, Alan the fab 4 are doing great and enjoying every minute. Party night on Friday, chilled out Saturday and a meal in Nessebar yesterday. A lovely time had by all. Things are getting back to normal for the moment, so hope to get on the beach later with the gang  Make the most whilst we can as heavy snow forecast again mid week. Hope you all had a great weekend. Have a good day.

Good morning all from a dry Elenite,
Well I did not throw a sicky, so did not celebrate national wine day. May be next year. Had a brisk walk on the beach, but got quite cold so came back. So no party there either. Today is dry, most snow now melted in parts. Quite chilly this morning but it has picked up temperature. Not for long, due to get cold again mid week. Then a little snow, then sunshine for the end of the week. Fingers crossed. Swans still out in the bay, sea getting choppy and the big boats are coming in. Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a dry Elenite,
Very high winds yesterday and snow fall from tea time. Everywhere covered in snow again, just as we were getting back to normal. We should be able to get out, fingers crossed. No wind today, calm sea and slightly cloudy. Looks like we may have a little sun later. Work continues on Royal park area, still pouring concrete. The Nagresco apartments are coming along well. The road must be clear as the workers have all turned in. Have a good day all.

Good morning all from a dry Elenite,
No more snow since, lots of sunshine yesterday so plenty of thawing going on. Clear sky again this morning, lovely calm sea and no wind. In for a good day. Bitter temperature last night, but still on the up. Sunshine forecast now for the rest of the week, we do hope to get back on that beach and continue the party time :D Off out and about today, will be visiting Nfc and Hfc, so any gossip will let you know tomorrow. Have a great day all.
