Good morning all from a chilly Elenite,
Rain most of yesterday, heavy at times and through into the night. Not raining now but very dark and dull with cold temperatures. Sea much calmer this morning, swan's out in the bay. A few people walking on the beach yesterday and a few tourist walking round the complex. So still some life out here. Off to Ravda this morning, then to meet friends in Vlas later, a busy day ahead. Will keep you posted with all the news. Have a great day all.

Once again Di and Sean thanks for the daily updates and photos. It keeps us in touch with Bg even when we are not there. The extra floor that is being built on Robinson's, is it the end near the sea and Robinson's bar or up by A blocks on PFB? Can't quite work it out from the photos. Thanks.

Good morning all from a snowy Elenite,
Yes it's back Woke up to a slight covering this morning, then for over an hour, heavy snow came down. The freezing temperature is already icing over the snow. Two attempts to get the car out, finally managed it, so not quite snowed in. Seem's to have eased off at the minute, but looks like a lot more to come. Some work happening in Ravda, new paving going down and maintenance repairs. Work still happening on Lidl, but not going up as quick as the supermarket next to Pfb. They are still working on the roof.
Hi Lorraine & Stuart, the work on Robinson's complex is right on the beach front, will get better shots over the weekend. Glad your enjoying the updates, we will keep them coming. A few pics added this morning of the St Vlas road works. Enjoy and have a great day all.

Good morning all from a snowy Elenite,
More snow, roads are iced up and baltic temperature's. Think this is the worst we have had all winter, but it had to happen. The snow eased yesterday, but the freezing temperature's and wind chill, made it very un pleasant. Today is much the same with no sign of thawing at the moment. Starting to snow as I type. The sea does not look too rough, but plenty of big tanker ships in the bay. So another weekend upon us, don't think the BBQ will be out this weekend. Perhaps a few party's at home, keeping warm, stocks permitting. Have a great weekend all. Have a good day. More pics to follow.

Just wondering is there any progress in the hotel been built next to Marina View,hope it hasnt interfered with our sea view from across the road.

Good morning all from a freezing Elenite,
A very cold and winter weekend had, snow, high winds, freezing temperatures. Most snow melted now and are able to get out and about. Only one day where the roads were too icy to get the car out, so had a walk to Vlas. Someone stopped and offered a lift, so did not have to walk too far. It was bitter cold and windy, so the lift was more than welcome. Today, cold and windy and the sea much calmer now. Work continued all weekend on the supermarket next to Pfb, they worked right through the night, in these temperatures, brrrh. Some wintery photo's and building work added this morning. Liath, the hotel next to Marina view almost complete now, a photo added today for you to see.

Good morning all from a cold Elenite,
Bitter cold again this morning, freezing with a bitter wind yesterday. Cloudy, windy but dry today. Bulgarian holiday today for Baba Marta, a big celebration tradition, so we will be joining in later. Work seem's to be happening for the foot bridge by Hfc, clearing the area and felling trees, setting out levels etc. Photo's added this morning. Activity by Paco's on the waste land to the side, men with levels and co ordinates measuring, will keep you updated if we see or hear. Concrete for the roof of the supermarket, the big pour this week. Also been informend the supermarket will have an ATM machine. Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a cloudy Elenite,
Cold and cloudy with a bitter wind this morning. Calm sea with slight sea mist coming in. Sunshine yesterday afternoon, clear sky and temperature's rising. Back to freezing when the sun went down. Lovely walking around St Vlas, sun shining and everyone giving out their Baba Marta bracelets. Concrete pumps all set up next to Pfb, due to freezing temperature's the concrete got cancelled yesterday, but should be getting delivered today. Quite a few tourists walking around Elenite yesterday too, think the sunshine brings everyone out, but it was nice to see some faces. Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a cloudy Elenite,
Cloudy and cold this morning, calm sea and no wind. Bitter cold yesterday with the wind chill, very wind and the sea got quite rough later in the day. Concrete trucks up and down all day long going to Royal park. Today for 4 days a Bulgarian holiday, not seen any cars or trucks so far coming into Elenite. Foot bridge work at Hfc still underway, clearing the other side of the road and digging out. A few picture's added. Off out and about today, a few people to meet and a spot of lunch with friends. Rain and sleet through the night, slight rain this morning, temperature seem's a little milder. Calm sea and no wind today. Concrete galore yesterday at the supermarket next to Pfb, trucks up and down, very hectic and busy doing the roof. News has it there will also be an Alfresco bar at the supermarket too. Well considering yesterday was a holiday, most workers and builders were at work. A big party in Bourgas yesterday to celebrate independence day, great fun had there. Good morning all from a little cloudy Elenite,
Sun trying to break through, cooler temperature's, slight wind and calm sea. Lovely sunshine and mild temperature's over the weekend, able to sit out in a sheltered spot. A hectic weekend had, with Birthdays, new arrivals and football, a good time had by all. Work continues on the widening of the road in Vlas, getting crazy again with all the digging. Full force this morning with the supermarket next to Pfb. A trip into Sunny beach Saturday, had to laugh, cows had got free and roaming the streets. A few pics added. Sun coming up, a few clouds, choppy sea and slight wind. Yesterday a lovely sunny morning, but bitter wind chill. Snow on the forecast for mid week, then lots of sunshine and warm temperature's. Slight snow late afternoon, and big tankers in the bay by the evening, looked like a storm was coming over, but came to nothing. Work is well under way with the foot bridge at Hfc, a few photo's added and we will keep you posted. Ladies day in Bulgaria today, so all the girls are out for lunch and drinks later. Everyone getting their hair and nails done yesterday for the big day. Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a little cloudy Elenite,
Mixed weather this morning, sunshine in and out and little snow falling every now and then. Rough sea, waves crashing and the big tankers are still with us. Very chilly temperature with slight wind. Yesterday a very windy day and cold, sun was shining most of the morning then got very cloudy, looked like rain/snow. As from tomorrow, spring is on its way and we are going into warm temperatures and lots of sunshine. Maintenance repairs are in full swing on Hfc, lots of digging in the foot bridge area, still hectic with the building work on the apartments. A great day had for ladies day, lovely lunch and a trip to the village to see our Bulgarian friends. Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a white Elenite,
Slight snow cover over night, cold temperatures and cloudy. Sea much calmer and the tankers are moving out this morning. Waves were really crashing late afternoon, lovely to watch, but too cold to stay out for long. Trucks up and down all day long going to Royal park, work continues on the supermarket next to Pfb. A few more shops setting up in St Vlas and more bars opening up soon. Will keep you posted. Big sunshine forecast for tomorrow, hopefully the end of winter.
