Biting Insects

Postby Bernard » Thu Jun 21, 2007 11:37 pm

Just a note of caution for everyone and hope it is of help to you.
I had just spent a fortnight in Panorama and didn't get bitten by anything.
We left on Monday Night 18th June and joined the large queues outside Bourgas Airport about 11pm. Everyone in the queues seemed to get bitten, flying insects, and next day when I got home I was covered in bites...so the moral of the story, make sure you have some repellent etc just in case...

Hi Bernard,
What you have said is very true with regards to biting insects at Bourgas airport. The little bas (blighters) had a field day with me and my wife. On the flight home we could not stop itching and it made the return flight not as pleasant as the flight there. Next time we will be taking mozzy repellent and giving ourselves a good spraying before we get to the airport.
Cheers.

Yes Panorama, sorry you suffered too...
Seems like their favourite time is at night, especially when you're in the queue for your flight home...
