Update on NFC

Postby Nicki Swift » Fri Jun 06, 2008 12:09 pm

Good day to you all,

we got back last night and thought you may wish to kniow whats happening on site,

All the pools have water in them, albeit slightly on the cold side. 4 of the six are clean and useable and the fifth and sixth on it's way any day.

The big yellow slide on the first pool is nearly complete, the stair well to is is in it's final stage (this is a straight slide about 15 foot high into the first pool you see when you get to the complex).

Nearly all the slides and swings have matting underneath them but all in place and entertained the kids wherever they were on site.

The tennis court is a while away, the matting on the court/football pitch needs to be laid. The football nets are on site but can not be used yet.

Security in place, and you will need a swipe card at 20 Lev. You can get these from the FN Office on site. You won't neet one on initial arrival but to save hastling the guard every time I would suggest getting one.

Supermarket open, on the small side at the moment, however serves fruit now as well as the bare esentials. Wasn;'t selling inflatables but 1 ltr beer is 1.65 Lev.

golf - 9 putting lanes (the type you get on the beach front in England, Zig Zag type or 90 degree angle) may be worht taking your own putter. I believe FN charge.

Sunbeds - approximately 7 or 8 around each pool but you may think of getting your own and labelliong them up. Stack and lock at night and then put them in your apartment when you leave. I believe it is the intention for FN to charge for these in the future although we were not charge over the last 2 weeks.

Weather - Suuny for the fortnight with cloudy patchy spells. Windy alot of the time which cooled the weather down slightly. The best pool to get out of the wind is by the pool bar which also has kiddy pool. Weather in general good though although a little cool in the evening when windy.

Pool Bar - 1 open, very good food and drink, would highly recommend. 1.80 Lev for large beer, 8 Lev for Full English Breakfast. Large Plasma got delivered yesterday. Table Football 2 Lev per token, Pool Table charged by the minute (approximately 20 Lev for 1 hour)

Nightlife - good as lasy year with 3 bungees along the front.

Enjoy your stay

Hello Nikki We arrived home last night this is Janice Brian and Jack say hello to william for Jack.
You have put plenty of information on the site. The yellow slide is still the same they havent got any further with it yet.
They were still cutting the lawns yesterday.

We are just back after spending a week there. The place looks well now that the shrubs and flowers have been planted. The pool with the slide is a big hit with the kids and the one near the bar is also popular because of the baby pool in it.
The food in the restaurant is ok with a good choice.
