Car Hire

Postby Reg+Deirdre » Wed Jun 11, 2008 8:10 pm

Hi All,
Heading over next week for the first time :D was thinking a car could come in handy for the bits and pieces that are still to be shopped for. I have already run into a problem as I was surfing today and any of the car hire places in the airport are closed from 9pm !! My thinking was to pick up a car at the airport keep it for the first week and maybe drop it off in sunny beech but as our flight only gets in to Bourgas at 11pm thats a no go. So can anyone throw a bit of light on this any experienced Bulgarian holiday makers out there.....any help is very much appreciated in advance. :)

Hi.
Try www.tstravel.net. We have used them on various occasions.
They have very friendly helpful staff. Last year our flight didn't get into Bourgas till 1.40 am and they were waiting for us with the car when we arrived. They picked it up from St Vlas a week later.

Hi

I know a car rental company who will drop bring the car to the airport, we have used him several times when we have been over and the cost has been reasonable, I can find out costs if anyone is interested.

Chris ,just to let you know we went ahead and booked a car today from them....well they could'nt have been nicer all done through e-mail but the too..ing and fro...ing and not having the car we wanted they came up with a bigger car than we needed for 210.00 euro for the week which I must say with all the bits included in the price is well worth it.So thanks so much for you help really looking forward to next week and with a bigger car sure can't we buy more!!! :P

reg & deirdre if u are happy with the price that is fair enough i justhad a look on the web again to hire a car for 7 days from knock airport is priced between £78 -£90 thats all inclusive with autoeurope and argus carhire. now i hire cars in bolton were i live it never costs me more than £80 for 7 days. so where do the bulgarians get these prices from i was over there in feb 08 i flew into varna airport i ordered a hirecar before i went it was 115 euros that is still more expensive than the UK ithink these bulgarians are taking us as fools with money to burn so when i go over to S/beach on the 7th july i will go down to bourgas and try and hire a car down there and pay what the bulgarians pay. anyway have a nice holiday.Liam.
