Blinds in Appartments?

Blinds in Appartments?

Postby Chaz » Thu Jul 03, 2008 2:47 pm

I have just had some photographs sent to me of our appartment and noticed that there are no inside blinds and mosquito nets on the windows, has anybody else found this?

I'm sure these were included within the price and should have been fitted by Fortnoks as part of the initial build/install.

Thanks

Chaz, i wouldn't be too upset, the mosquito net on the patio doors are so flimsy they will break very quickly, and the blinds take up too much space. Once i can find someone who makes curtains to fit ... bye bye blinds

Hi Chaz, I too had the same problem as you, after I recieved my photo's of the appt and noticed no blinds or mosquito nets I e-mailed Stella via the contact secion of this website. I asked if it would be possible for them to be fitted for when I went out 7th june. I recieved an email explaining that they had not yet fitted them but would make sure that all would be done in time for my visit. I then recieved an email informing me that the work had been completed. While I was there I found the mosquito nets to be more than adequate and it was great being able to sleep at night with the doors opened and not being eaten alive by any insects at all !
I would just like to add that all the communications I have had with Stella and the NFC team has been positive, even when the work had'nt been completed they were honest with me and were extremely helpful and very friendly and completed the work within the timescale they said they would.

I got the full blackout curtains from a company in Sunny Beach. They cost 760 lev for a 2 bed apt. The womans name is Eva and the number is +359 899 815830. The curtains are full length and include the sitting room window, I am happy with the quality because they keep the kids asleep longer in the mornings.

Thank you all for your replies, I appreciate your time in responding to this issue.

Are there any Nessebar Fort Club owners who purchased their appartments through MRI experiencing this same problem? there may well be a contractual issue here!

Many Thanks
Chaz.

Has any body else who purchased an apartment through MRI found that the 'Blinds' were not fitted?

Fortnoks claim that MRI exclude these from the contract...

Our contract with MRI does not say that the blinds are excluded...

MRI claim the developer no longer include these in the package...

the fortnoks website states under 'Finishing of the appartments' that... PVC JOINERY WITH INSIDE BLINDS AND MOSQUITO NETS Are included...

I can't express how dissapointed we are with the lack of interest and responsibility that all parties are showing, strangly enough our final payments were received with thanks many months ago!!

All your coments would be helpful in this please!!

Many Thanks

Maybe they meant the net curtains that were up?

if you purchased through MRI there will be no blinds in your apartment.

I purchased the economy furniture pack through MRI and had the net curtains fitted. the mosquito nets are part of the blacony doors.

MRI supply curtains in the superior furniture pack!

I have asked MRI for a quote to fit curtains which are needed when the sun goes down and a quote for blinds from FN. Still waiting on both.
