We have had someone go and measure our apartment for fitting a kitchen and they have said that there are no pipes for the sink? Anyone else have this issue??

Hi,

FN do not supply the sink connections you have to buy them yourself I am afraid. If you buy a kitchen direct from a shop and pay them to fit it be warned that most although they fit the sink they do not connect it.

Hope this helps

Hi Janet,

You only need the connections from the sink to the wall, FN have put the pipes from source to apartments. Another thing to bare in mind that if you have a problem in the future and FN have not done the connection you have to get the people out that originaly connected it for you.

For example say MRI fitted the kitchen and you have a leak, you will have to turn water off until they send someone out to repair it for you. FN are on site and it can be done asap. Its oK if the work as been done by someone local as they should be easier to get hold of.

Again I hope this helps

Not to sound dim here but its ridiculous that they do not put pipes in for a kitchen, its make more work for people, and also wont it cause mess.... i dont know how fitting kitchens work but will a floor or a wall need to damaged in order for a pipe to be installed?? The are going to have to drill or something in order to connect the pipes to the outside pipes?

Does everyone understand where I am coming from here?

hi Annamj885

Sorry if I was not clear enough. the pipes are already in the wall all you have to do is connect the sink pipes up to them. Should be no mess as such.
If you need any further help send me a PM or email.
