Hi,WAS YOUR FINAL INSTAL ACTUALLY DUE IN DECEMBER OR DID YOU GET AN EXTENSION,ALSO ARE THEY ASKING YOU TO GO AND SIGN IN DECEMBER AS THEY ARE WITH US,HOW CAN A PERSON GO OVER THERE IN DECEMBER,ALSO DO YOU THINK ITS SAFE TO PAY THE FINAL INSTAL. WITHOUT GETTING THE DEEDS,HAS MANY PEOPLE PAID THE FINAL INSTAL.AND THEN WENT OVER SEVERAL MONTHS LATER TO SIGN,WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE GONE DOWN THIS ROAD,THANKS LYN

Linda Lyons - yes i paid my final instalment then went over 2 months later to sign the final papers and the notary after signing it takes 2 weeks to get the deeds but i think u can have them posted to u in the UK at a cost. you can"t get the deeds till u have paid the total amount bein the same in the UK till u have paid off your mortage.you seem to have a fear of fortnoks i thought they were very good and helpful when i went over to sign

dazza - you can fly very cheap in winter wizz air fly from luton into bourgas once a week on a sunday. easyjet fly from manchester and gatwick into sofia. british airways fly from gatwick into varna. i would not go in jan or feb there will be lots of snow. i was there in feb 08 the varna to bourgas road was shut cos of snow i was lucky the day of my flight back to gatwick from varna they had just opened the road. wizz air would be your best bet.if u did drive from the UK you have got to go through some dodgy country"s like croatia.

hi bwfc
dont belive all you read i drove over last year its a fantastic drive france, belgium, germany, austria, hungry, romania and down into bulgaria coming back we did bulgaria into serbia and then up into hungry that was a quicker route but serbia charges you insurance to drive on there rd ( rip off ) but saved a days drive i suppose the drive was brill and the people we met on route were great i also flew wizz luton to sofia and hired a car to bourgas i probably wont go out till april or may i will just forward the money for now but will deffo be driving out again

I drove back to Bulgaria last year as I had to bring a vehicle back from the UK I did the Slovinia, Croatia, Serbia route roads are good and found no problems also cuts down the route by a lot of miles, even though you have to pay insurance to go through Serbia it probably works out cheaper than going the other route as you save in fuel.
