MRI, Fort Noks n CFP... ARRGGHHH!!

Postby annamj885 » Thu Dec 18, 2008 1:08 pm

Is it me or all these companies working together to make it hard for people!!

Right, first of all our solicitor Legal Independance never gave us 2 months notice prior to Prot 15 being issued as stated in our contract, so they have defaulted there! Fort Noks said they wrote to us about the Prot 15, but guess what they dont have proof of postage, we never received a thing from them.... CFP are just ignoring us and now we are told that if we dont get money by 19th Jan its going back on market!!!

CFP are useless and after months they havent even applied for a mortgage for us, now ignoring our emails!!!
MRI not been in touch since 2 years ago when we bought it
Fort Noks have completed early so people struggle to get the money together and then they can re-sell them!!
Legal Independance are working for all 3 companies to make sure people dont complete.....

So anyway we cant get a mortgage cos CFP are useless, we cant remortgage over hear cos we still live with parents and we cant afford a loan cos interest rates are too high!! What do we do?!?!?

We are in a similar situation of maybe having to give up the apartment, we can remortgage our house and are are in the process of doing so though it is the 3rd remortgage application which we are currently waiting on, we both have good credit scores so that is not the problem. Our problem is, where we had plenty of equity 2 years ago the value of our property has dropped by 32k. I have said on a previous post that if Fort Noks had completed June 09 as they said they would then there is a chance things would not be as bad in June 09 as they are know.
We currently owe 39.000 euros on our apartment which means if the pound does equate to 1 euro as predicted then we will be paying 13k more for our apartment than we originally thought we would which has eaten up more equity.
If Fort Noks carry out their threat to put apartments back on the market after Jan 19th then what a wonderful atmosphere a deserted complex would create as the apartments are not exactly flying off the shelves.
Fort Noks! I know you read these posts and I also know you need payment so are you willing to run the risk of having a large amount of unsold apartments on your hands which due to the current economic climate you are going to have problems selling or are you willing to consider dropping the current payment percentage from 40% and increase the final payment percentage. You must understand that the current global economic climate is unprecedented so change has to sometimes occur to accomadate the problems which have arisen, a typical example is the bailing out of all the banks.
In better economic conditions we would have no problem paying the 40%, it just happens to be totally the wrong time to have to pay it.
Don,t forget it is Christmas, the season of goodwill

Why don't you just mortgage your apartment in UK? there's loads of companies offering oversea property mortgages.

purkyuk....

While that is a good idea, doing that at the moment means you will be paying more for the apartment as £1 now only equals to 1 euro, just about.... so its more expsenive that way?
