Introductions and Places to go....

Postby annamj885 » Tue Nov 04, 2008 2:15 pm

Hi, just wanting to find out a bit about the people that have bought in Holiday Fort. We have bought a studio in block D1, hopefully as an investment and the odd few holidays! Only been to Bulgaria once and that was for 3 days to buy the apartment, so we dont know anything about the place or the people, all we know is that it is cheap!!

So does anyone have any tips for us or intersting information about themselves, the complex or whats on offer in Sunny Beach?? :D

Just a little info on where to go in Sunny Beach and surrounding areas,
There is the aqua park across the road from you, Djannys is a very popular restaurant which is in the market area of the resort. The Condor also another propular restaurant which is on the Elinite Nessebar road by the night club Mania. Nessebar is a must to visit you can get there by bus or by boat from the beach. A trip up to the Marina in St Vlas is a must. Thursdays there is a large market in Kableshkovo which is about 7kms inland from Sunny Beach you can get a bus from the bus station or a taxi from the resort. Sozopol is worth a trip but you need all day to do this. Pomorie is also a nice place to visit, again a bus from the bus station. If anyone wants any more info on above please PM me for more details

hi anna and nathan,
we have bought an apartment on holiday fort club, we have been to sunny beach three times. we visited old nessebar which is very old and quaint. if
you use the local bus services it is very cheap. the taxi boat takes you over also but costs a bit more. we also went to the lighthouse pub and restaurant which is very nice it is on the road next to the market. i have also went through to bourgas on the bus half way on route there is a market that looks worth a visit.we are hoping to visit 2009 for our first visit to our place and looking forward to meeting lots of people on the complex to compare notes.

The market that you mention is Kableskovo which is held every Thursday. You can get the bus to Burgas from the bus station which goes through the town, or you can get a taxi to the market, but if you use a taxi make sure you get the price first.

You can't miss Djanny's it is 1/3 down the road that takes you to the beach on the right.
It also very noticeable because there is normally a long queue of people waiting to get in ;-)
It's ok if you get there before 7.

Just wondering how many people are heading out over the next few weeks. We have bought in A3 and are going out on 21st April. It would be nice to meet other people out there.

The lighthouse is opposite the Condor, if walk from the complex, through the market area with the Kuban hotel in front of you, when you get to the main road through the resort, turn right pass Mania the night club on the right, just past that is the Condor restaurant this I prefer to Djannys, on the opposite side of the road is the Lighthouse.
