Dazza
i think you have it wrong about the forum, remember there are 2 sides to a coin, personally i love NFC and all the freinds we have made BUT i think its always worthwhile members pointing out any legit problems

Alan you posted just as I was writing the same message

dazza if you look at what the moaners (me included) are moaning about you may one day realize that we like the complex, but are trying to ensure that serious problems, mainly concerning safety are rectified

I don't think personal gain by people willing to let out their apartments to all & sundrie should stop people who purchased for family & friends, trying to bring serious problems to light

The bottom line is you want to rent your apartment out to families without them knowing that they have to cross a motorway to get off the complex, or could get mugged late at night.

We just want it sorted & are happy to post that on the Fortnoks forum

If you only purchased to make money on rentals, I am sorry to say, you may have made a mistake, but if you think that it bothers me that you may not be able to get a tenant, Guess what?

just returned from a great 2 weeks in NFC , Food great ,staff superb, found a very friendly fort noks taxi driver and very cheap. and guess what Fort Noks have had street light s fitted all the way down the main road to make it safer for us to walk at night, until the new road is sorted. :D

We have just returned from our apartment. We have found the taxi drivers in the center of sunny beach to be the worst rip of drivers you will ever come across abroad. Always set a price before you get in the taxi and always knock them down with the first price. Thats why they sit around doing nothing because people will not use them.

charlie & pat - you are not wrong there. the piece of paper stuck to the side window of the taxi with the prices on per km are just a joke to make them look official. they are all bogus taxi drivers. was down Ravda 2 weeks ago english guy owns a bar there he told us they come from all over bulgaria to make a killing off the tourist. but Nessebar council are quite happy to let them do it even though its harming the resort. when out there a few ago we got one taxi back to NFC cos he wanted 10 lev which was reasonable. i have never seen so many taxi drivers in one resort there must be at least 2000 of them. you would think the penny might drop to these taxi drivers with the buses packed like sardines. i say let them sit there 24/7 and make sod all.

The forum is very handy for finding out what is going on etc., so I would not like to lose it. Also I have no intention at this point in time of renting out the apartment so negative comments don't affect me. For those that they do affect, and that surely includes Fort Noks themselves who not only rent but sell, it would be a good idea if the forum was only accessible to members, i.e. owners. No further problems, and forum only able to be read and added to, by stakeholders.

We completely agree with you, this is why we have setup a group in google for ‘Nessebar Fort Club’ owners, this group is completely free and does not charge anyone, and is ideal for setting up a community of owners to discuss issues or problems… things that you wouldn’t want to put on a forum for anyone to read. The group is completely private so only members/owners can gain access.

The group allows members to share documents, pictures and information, there is also a function to send all owners an email to setup discussion times or meetings, and what ever is relevant. Also the group will help owners meet neighbours and new friends, and given enough members could even offer group benefits such as; insurance discounts, service and cleaning discounts, etc..

how can you ensure that only owners will join the group though?

whats to stop someone who is thinking of buying or renting an apartment at NFC from joining the group?

I cant see how it is any different to the fortnoks forum

So to recap

You wish to let out or sell your apartment to familys that are aware that Nessebr Fort Club is a nice complex with pools & bars, but unaware that they will have to run the gauntlet of the 100mph + traffic passing on the wrong side of the road, with no crossing, should they wish to get off the complex

In the word of Dell Boy "Cushty"

I just hope none of your tenants/buyers get unlucky, but I guess you will have their cash by then
