Hi there can anyone give us advice on the best way to insure our apartment and any prices available. Do we need public liability cover if we are planning to let our apartment out. Thanks

Try a company called Intersure based in UK, reasonable priced, no extra charges for paying monthly by DD, you get public liability included in quotation, if you are renting out you will need accidental damage for tenants cover at a small extra cost
