None of our windows had been sealed, water everywhere, it went up the walls aswell and they were damp. Told them in the office and they didnt do anything. We went to masterhause (sp) and bought sealant and did it ourselfs. the windows on the stairs havent been sealed and they were leaking, water all down the stairs, not good health and safety. They sent cleaners around to mop and check the empty apartments but if we had wooden flooring it would have been ruined.

Thanks for that. This is what worries me most that Fortnoks will not accept responsibility. Our problem is not the windows. We have a ground floor apartment and the water is coming from under the ground. We seem to think it is from the pipe that runs doen inside our bathroom and with the floods last week there was nowhere for the water to drain away and all the tiles have raised due to water pressure. All I can do is keep on at them we should be covered by their insurance - but it is a worry. :(
