Car rental.

Hi all.

I am looking to hire a car on my next visit out in 2010, ideally to collect at Bourgas airport then to be picked up / dropped off at Sunny Beach. Does anyone have any info that may be of any use to me before i start to make enquiries, has anyone used the company based at the complex itself?

I used the car rental at the apartments, it was Hertz. The guys at NFC just act as a go between.
Very efficient service , good car but not cheap. With all insurance etc. it cost me 50 Euros for one day !

Hi there, I hired a car for my 5 vists this year.The dearest price was in August it cost 165 euro for the week it was a small car. I used Argus rental online I found them to be very efficient with excellent english. I picked up at Bourgas Airport and returned at same. It wasnt used everyday but at your fingertips, which was why fter or visit in May we decided it was well worth the money. Hope this helps

Hi, I have used economy car hire and have found then to be very good. You can pick up the car at the airport and arrange for it to be collected from the complex.

Thanks for your info, could you tell me what's involved with collecting the car at the airport and how long does it take to sort out etc, you will have to excuse me as i have never hired a car before.......

If you hire online from economy carhire then when you land a man can Ivan will be waiting at the arrivals with a board with your name on it. He will take you to the car which is in the car park. All the paperwork is completed and he takes a deposit by credit card. Make sure that you have a good look round the car and if you see anything make sure to tell him. Also check the spare wheel to make sure there is one. When everything is completed he will arrange the pickup with you.

i would recomend economy. watch out for speed cameras on the road from airport to sunny beach fixed and mobile, supprisingly they are quite strict on speeding or maybe just another earner?
