Good morning all from a sunny Elenite,
Clear sky, calm sea and sun just coming up. In for a lovley sunny day. Temperature's have dropped a little, but still pleasant. Nice and dry over the weekend, slight wind, sunny intervals and quite cold at times. So the weather was not as bad as predicted. :) Friday in Bourgas was packed with Christmas shoppers, so busy everywhere. Got all our shopping done, then picked up our free range Turkey from Kosherista.. it's huge. So all set for Christmas here. Hope you all had a great weekend, have a good day all.

Good morning all from a sunny Elenite,
Sun coming up, calm sea, slight wind, clear sky but very chilly this morning. A glorious sunny day yesterday, but bitter cold at times. The heating went on for the first time last night for an hour, so deffinately getting colder. :( Sleet and snow forecast for the weekend, brrr not looking forward to that one. The guest on Messambria have now left, so almost home alone again for the time being. Still no work happening by the Sea eye or the road area, but will keep you updated.
Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a sunny Elenite,
Plenty of sunshine yesterday, but was cold. Today a little warmer, sun shining, calm sea and in for a nice day. Gardener's were out on Messambria yesterday, still in prep for the winter, very surprising how green the gardens are for this time of year. The big oak now bare, but the surrounding trees are blooming. Tennis courts up by Royal park are being cut into and being taken down, perhaps some work to be started in this area, will keep you posted. Have a good day all.

Good morning all from a sunny Elenite,
Lovely sunshine again this morning, quite warm out there with a little breeze. Yesterday glorious sunshine, but cold in the shade. Not too bad yesterday evening, no heating needed, just a nice warm chillie and mulled wine to keep us warm. :) Bourgas seems to be getting busier by the day, absolutely packed out yesterday, think they were giving the goods away. St Vlas looking festive, also busy at the moment. Building work continues in St Vlas area's and the marina side. Well off tree hunting later, get the festive season off to a start before we get snowed in. Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a cloudy Elenite,
Cloudy and drizzle at the moment, getting colder, looks set for a rainy day, had a few seconds of sleet earlier. High winds and heavy rain through the night, balcony furniture on the move. Lots of sunshine yesterday, sat on the balcony late afternoon, it was really warm and pleasant. A few people walking on the beach yesterday, quite a few boats out in the bay. Well another weekend upon us, where do the weeks go. Friends over tonight for a curry and a few farewells for those going home for Christmas. Hope you all have a great weekend.
Have a good day all.

Hi Di & Sean,
I've read almost all of your posts, all of it very positive, it's pity I should work everyday and don't have opportunity to live there all time with my family. This is nice you have good mood and patience to write posts. Carry on! :D
Take care and best regards from cloudy and snowy Moscow

Good morning all from a cold Elenite,
Plenty of sunshine over the weekend, but bitter freezing temperature's. Had 2 seconds of snow on Friday evening, but that was it.The pools have frozen over, not too thick, so no ice skating yet ! High winds, rough sea, lots of big tankers in the bay. Tankers are moving off now, sea much calmer, wind has dropped but very cold. A lovely red sky this morning and sun trying to come out. So the weekend spent chilling out and keeping warm. A fun curry night and drinks with friends.
Alex, thank you for your post, we will keep the updates coming over the winter, plus updated photo's. I am sure our time will come when we get the real cold weather your having at the moment. Hope you all had a great weekend, have a good day.

Good morning all from a wet Elenite,
Cloudy and drizzle this morning, seem's a little milder though. Calm sea, slight wind but look's like rain. Yesterday a very cold day, all the winter woolies out now. Maintenance work being carried out on Nfc and Hfc, the building work next door is flying up. All quiet on the work front around Elenite at the moment. Don't think we will see much this side of Christmas, but will keep you posted. Off to Nessebar this morning, final Christmas shopping, then home to put the decorations up.
Have a great day all.

Good morning all from Snowy Elenite,
Yes it has arrived, started snowing around 4 am, not heavy but managed to cover everywhere. Not quite snowed in, cars are on the move and able to get out and about. Snowing gently just now but looks like it could be set for the day. Temperature minus 4 at the moment, so a bit chilly to say the least. It does look pretty and Christmassy...More snow on the forecast too for the rest of the week. Work next to Holiday fort is getting bigger, flying up at some pace. In Nessebar town yesterday, seemed very quiet, not a lot of shoppers about. Off out to play in the snow, so have a good day all. Enjoy the photo's.

Good morning all from a snowy Elenite,
Snowed until around lunch time yesterday, temperature was not too bad, pools and snow had all melted by late afternoon. Woke up to slight snow fall and pools again all frozen and a lot colder this morning. Nice calm sea and slight wind and more snow on the way for today. It was nice to see our paths getting cleared and the road gritter was out and about in Elenite. 12 cm of snow fell in the village Kosheritsa, so some in the area are having it quite bad, we not too bad for now. Will be getting more stock in today, just in case. Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a sunny & snowy Elenite,
No update yesterday, due to power failure for most of the day. Lost all electric early hours Friday morning, after a big heavy snow fall and high winds. Thursday afternoon the snow just kept coming, thick and fast with blizzard conditions. No chance of getting the car out Friday and with no electric at home...Night mare. :( A 4 wheel drive was passing and that got stuck, so we helped clear the snow and managed to get the car back on the road, brilliant and was able to hitch a lift to Vlas. After shopping, lunch and a few hot toddies we walked back to Elenite, to find the electric back on. :D Fort Noks have cleared the carpark and we are now able to get the car out and about, so all back to normal for now. Sun is shining, temperature's not too bad and snow is melting slowly. Lots of snowy pictures for you all to take a look at. Enjoy and have a great weekend.

Good morning all from a dry Elenite,
Sunshine yesterday, helping to melt the snow a little, cold temperature's and small rain. So today, dry, chilly and everywhere iced up. Plus 2 is the temperature at the moment, so not too bad. At least we are able to get out and about, just need to wrap up. A quiet weekend had, after Fridays activity, stayed home cooking and keeping warm. Christmas decorations finally up, mulled wine and home made mince pies whilst doing them, so really getting into the spirit here. Hope you all had a good weekend and not too many of you snowed in. Have a good day all.

Good morning all from a mild Elenite,
Temperature's very mild this morning, snow melting fast, almost gone now. Clear sky and calm sea, looks like it could be a nice day. :) All main roads are now clear, some of the side roads are still blocked, but managable if you drive carefully. Bourgas was very busy again, every shop packed out. Went to the original cash & carry, very cheap and some bargains to be had. Nessebar also busy yesterday, Christmas lights still going up. Have a great day all.

Good morning all from a mild Elenite,
Well you would not believe the weather yesterday, after all the snow and cold, temperature's turned into double figure's, lovely sunshine and able to sit on the beach. It was so warm, down to T shirts, not quite shorts but think the bbq will be back out again. :) Today a few clouds, sun coming up, very mild, 10 degrees at 8 am, so looks set for another good day. May be Christmas dinner on the beach at this rate. Have a good day all.

Good morning all from a foggy Elenite,
Thick fog this morning, mild temperature and calm sea. Another warm and sunny day yesterday, temperature's reaching 19 degrees, lovely. A nice atmosphere in St Vlas yesterday afternoon, food stall, drinks and music in the centre, people sitting outside and park areas, a lovely Chrismassy feel. Most of the Bulgarians finish for their holiday today and back to work Jan 3rd. Work has started up on the Robinson's complex, they are taking the front line up another level. Will keep you posted. Have a great day all.
