Please Ban Smoking in the Restaurant

Please Ban Smoking in the Restaurant

The food in the restaurant on the complex is in my opinion very good, & reasonably priced, unfortunately trying to eat it whilst holding your breath does tend to ruin the experience

I ate several meals, on different tables, but never managed to find one that was not wafted with carcinogenic toxic fumes emitted from ignorant anti social smokers, all supporting a cheesy, I am smoking in a restaurant & you can’t stop me grin.

My wife had to stop me telling the couple with 2 young children who sat next to the man who wares a woman’s scarf on his head, that as soon as your food arrives, he will light his pipe, & right on cue, he did so, I sat there for several hours watching him do it time & time again, he just sits there sipping his beer, & lights his pipe every time food arrives close to his table, he was not even eating, there are benches all around the place, how ignorant can you get

If I was to sit in the restaurant harming all of the children that sat in my vicinity I would hope that someone would stop me, but the ignorant smokers are allowed to get away with it, all of them that have flown to Bulgaria have proved they can go at least 3 hours without a fag so why do they have to smoke, not when they are eating, only when others do so, many of them whist sitting with there own children

There are lots of children that eat in the restaurant, someone should be asking them if they like passive smoking whilst eating

I only witnessed one considerate smoker, she would leave the table every time she wanted a cancer stick, as she had 2 young children eating with her, but sadly the granny was not so considerate, & carried on puffing at the table, but she did stubb her fag ends into the ashtray on the table behind her, nice.

If smoking is not banned in the restaurant the inconsiderate smokers, which from my observations, is almost all of them, will carry on with this disgusting anti social, if you don’t like it leave, behaviour.

Lets face it, smoking in the restaurant is going to be banned at some point, so why wait?

I FOR ONE CANNOT FORSEE SMOKING IN THE RESTAURANT BEING BANNED FOR SEVERAL VALID REASONS,ONE,THE AREA IN QUESTION IS OPENED ON THREE SIDES WHICH IS LEGALLY CONSIDERED TO BE SUFFICIENTLY VENTILATED FOR SMOKER'S,I BEING NEITHER PRO/ANTI SMOKER'S HAVE NEVER FOUND THE RESTAURANT SMOKEY BECAUSE OF IT BEING SO OPEN,AND IF I DID I WOULD EAT AT ONE OF THE TABLES DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE POOL.WHICH IS TOTALLY OPEN.

SECONDLY,THERE IS AN INDOOR RESTAURANT WHICH (in keeping with the law) IS A NON SMOKING VENUE,NOT AN ASH TRAY TO BE SEEN!! SO PEOPLE THAT ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR CHILDREN,AND QUITE RIGHTLY SO,SHOULD DINE EITHER HERE/POOL WHICH MAKES FOR ALL, BEING HAPPY CAMPERS.

A BIG THANK YOU TO MARIA NICKEY AND EUGENE FOR ALL THEIR HELP,NICKEY,YOUR A GEM,THANKS AGAIN FOR SORTING THAT KHAN'S TENT ISSUE.

Agree with Linda. The restaurant is open all around it bar the one side. The tables by the pool are totally open. There ia always a spare table there for someone who is that picky about a few puffs of smoke.

Anyone not eating indoors, i.e. near the pool, will be passive smoking, I was doing so last week, I ate every meal at a different table, all with the same result.

30 years ago I remember telling a friend that one day you will not be allowed to smoke in pubs in the UK, never happen he replied.

And they will be sat thinking "If you don't like it, leave" with a big, I am in Bulgaria & you can't stop me grin.

If people are eating, or children are present, smoking should not be allowed.

For us it's more important to ban smoking on the balcony (Holiday Club)! Neighbours smoking at nights are our nightmare! Neither closed nor opened balcony door prevents from getting your portion of poison! Sorry for my English.
